[Completed][MG] HMS-01 'Holy Unicorn Emperor' Unicorn Gundam Painted Build - [Updated 5 October 2014]

Project Name:
HMS-01 Holy Unicorn Emperor

Armaments:
- Holy Beam Saber x2 (At Backpack)
- Holy Beam Blade x2 (Eject-able when Light of Conviction is activated)
- Holy Armored Shield x1
- Holy Javelin Staff x1
- Pure Beam Magnum w/ Launcher x1

Special Ability (Normal Mode):
- Holy Magic Bolt
- Art of Holy Swordplay
- Light of Conviction (Awakening mode, amplifies all abilities)

Special Ability (Awakening Mode):
- Atonement (Absorb all energy from opponents and purifies them for it's own use)
- Holy Hand of Purity (Damages the opponent's internal frame severly)
- Flying Swords (All Beam Sabers become funnel-like and controlled by hand movement)
- Undying Conviction (Third awakening mode yet to be discovered)

This kit was made last as I was gathering some leftover parts that I had built from my previous Unicorn Gundams and other kits. Don't ask me how I came up with all this armaments name and abilities, they just came out of my mind, just like that lol... This should be the most number parts being swapped/added to it... You could consider this as kit bashing, since I'm adding on so many different parts to it lol... And I promised to myself that this kit will be epic (because it's the Emperor we are talking about) and the perfect way to conclude my HMS project.

List of parts used for this kit:
- Unicorn Gundam OVA as the base
- Manipulating hands from Sinanju Stein
- Chest parts with Gold Mane, Orange Psycho Frame, Armed Armor DE & XC from Banshee Norn
- Chromed Golden Split Horn from Phenex
- Hyper Beam Javelin from Full Armor Unicorn Ver Ka
- Water decal sheet (chromed gold color) from Unicorn Banshee Awakening Mode Ver Ka

List of Tamiya Spray Paint used:
- TS-30 Silver Leaf (Holy Internal Frame)
- TS-14 Black (1st layer coating)
- TS-83 Metallic Silver (2nd layer coating, for selected armor parts)
- TS-84 Metallic Gold (2nd layer coating, for selected armor parts)
- TS-27 Matt White (2nd coating after priming, for armor parts)
- White Primer Surfacer (1st coating for priming, for armor parts)

*Updated 20 May 2014: This kit will be placed last as I'm waiting for the MG Banshee Norn to arrive. (It has arrived already lol...) So once everything has been settled I will begin work on it earliest in around July 2014 hopefully... (Postponed till around Ocotber 2014).

*Update 7 March 2014: Looking through all the leftover parts to see if they are of any use... Good thing about Unicorn model kit is that I had a few parts to act as backup if anything goes wrong lol...

*Updated 11 August 2014: I think I had kept it long enough to update it again lol... Anyway, extra parts and stickers from my spare Banshee Norn kit to contribute to this build, and the beam effect parts, came as part of the free items when I got my Neo Zeong, would do just perfectly fine. Now I'm thinking whether I should prime them...

*Update: Planning is completed, and the spare parts have been separated for spray painting...

*Updated 15 August 2014: Finally separated out the parts, more packs this time. I'm putting in more effort into spray painting them out of runners, just for this kit lol... And this is the first time I ever use a primer just for the parts that are meant to be white color... For now I need to experiment it out on a plastic spoon as I'm using a gray primer and see the outcome. I couldn't find the white primer spray, probably will need to find at other place. And also for the first time I bought a can of Metallic Gold spray paint, which I just realized that I needed a black spray paint to get the desired effect I want, so that's gotta wait too lol...

*Updated 16 August 2014: I had tested the gray primer with Matt White applied on it. Looks kind of ok, but I will see how it will turns out again when I got the White Primer.. More experiments to come, I wanna try out how good is the Metallic Gold and some other colors to try them out lol...

*Updated 25 August 2014: Not much of a WIP but I did got my hands on a white primer finally... and a Metallic Silver to spray on certain parts of the Unicorn and the Black spray acts as the under coating, which Tamiya suggested when spraying metallic gold/silver... Gonna test them all this weekend XD Can't wait to see the outcome lol...

*Updated 30 August 2014: (This was done yesterday, which I forgotten to update, so here it is lol...) Tested all the spray paints and the outcome were great! =D For the White Primer with Matt White, you can't tell much on the spoon I tested on, but I have already applied it onto the Armor DE and it turns out very good. For the Black with Metallic Gold and Silver, there were awesome XD I will definitely apply them to certain parts XD

*Updated 6 September 2014: I had completed most of the parts before some of my critical paint color runs out... White Primer has ran out but it's ok I have no more parts for it lol... Silver Leaf & Black has ran out however so I will need to get some more of those, probably a few weeks later lol...

*Updated 26 September 2014: Finally found this decal that I so wanted to apply on my Unicorn Emperor for long time now =D The decal sheet were originally from my MG Banshee final episode version or the so-called awakening mode lol... Well, looking forward to my spray painting job tmr =D

*Updated 27 September 2014: Finally finished spray painting!!! Proceeding to build very soon XD I still have some paints left.. maybe I will use it for other kits lol...

Finally I can conclude this last kit of my HMS project.. I had fun with this project, and it also enables me to try something new in each of the HMS kits I built and benefits the next one. The learning process is never ending, so I can just either maintain or keep on improving my skills lol... I will be working on my Darkness Mobile Suit project soon in the year end, and the first kit to be build will be announce soon lol...
