[Completed][MG] DMS-01 'Dark Unicorn Emperor' Unicorn Banshee Painted Build [Updated 14th February 2015]

Project Name:
DMS-01 Dark Unicorn Emperor

Armaments:
- Dark Flame Saber x2 (At Backpack)
- Dark Flame Blade x2 (Usable when Flame of Vengeance mode is activated)
- Dark Petal Shield x1

Special Ability (Normal Mode):
- Shield Slash Throws Shield to slash opponents)
- Flame of Vengeance (Awakening mode, amplifies all abilities)

Special Ability (Awakening Mode):
- Overwhelm (Overloads energy into opponent's internal flame and explodes)
- Flaming Blades of Fury

First kit to mark the start of my new project, the Darkness Mobile Suit project. This wasn't really part of my DMS plan initially until I realized that I still had enough leftover parts from my Banshee Norn and plus I still had the red Psycho Frame parts still not used, so I was thinking "Why not just make something out of it under the DMS project?" So voila, there we have it, the Dark Unicorn Emperor lol...

This is not part of Project Evolution, so it's two different Unicorns. They are like brothers fighting with each other. That's about it for now lol.. Until when I'm more or less figured out how the plot goes, this is as much as I can made up now lol...

This kit won't be subjected to much focus as I'm only using leftover Unicorn parts but still would be putting in the same effort as of what I do with my HMS kits normally. But however, for this DMS project it will have two Emperors. The other Emperor will be the epic one and as ausual, the last kit to be build lol...

No Armed Armor XC and DE in this kit, maybe considering the DE... (I still got the bootleg DE parts lol...)

- MG Unicorn Banshee Norn (without chest mane, Armed Armor DE & XC) as the base
- Red Psychoframe parts from MG Unicorn OVA
- Water decal sheet from MG Unicorn Banshee Titanium Finish Version
- Special Beam effect parts from HD Builders bonus pack

List of Tamiya Spray Paint used:
- TS-06 Matt Black (For main armor parts)
- TS-85 Bright Mica Red (For selected armor parts)
- TS-38 Gun Metal (For Darkened Internal Frame)
- Light Gray Primer Surfacer (1st coating for priming, for selected armor parts)

*Updated 31st December 2014: Finally got my DMS project going... Planning is done, took longer time than usual to separate the parts and slice out all the nub marks from each of them... I got no spray paint at the moment but I will get what I need for this kit real soon...

This was what's left over of my other MG Banshee Norn btw lol...

Just these few runner frames to spray on...

Main armor is not black, so had to do much work on them lol...

*Updated 1st February 2015: Finally bought some spray paints and set to work spray painting some of the parts. Because the I'm spray painting the main armor pieces, I needed more time to work on them and I might carry on to finish them up on the next weekend. I also needed my light gray primer  for certain parts as my Bright Mica Red spray paint doesn't go well with with dark colored parts.

I didn't use gold color, it's meant for my other kit that I'm planning along the way lol...

Completed all these so far... Most important is the internal frame parts have completed lol...

*Updated 7th February 2015: Finally finished spray painting all the parts at last... It's kind of windy today so I took longer time to spray paint. The black armor as usual really took me lots of time, patience, and spray paint cans to complete them... I think this is much more challenging than my HMS kits cos I need not worry about the white armor parts by default lol...

I had to prime some parts as I had some slight issues when applying Bright Mica Red paint on some plastic surface last week. And I worked on other parts while waiting for the primer to dry up lol...

And spray painting done! Brought back home and started to assemble some of them...

*Updated 13th February 2015: I forgot to update my pics onto here and Hobby Link.tv site due to my busy work... Only managed to post them up onto my Facebook.. These are what I have completed so far... Tomorrow will be applying top coat for it, piece them together, and do some poses...

That concludes my first DMS project kit, the Dark Unicorn Emperor XD This project would be putting extra more work to it as the main armor is also included to undergo spray painting. They're not as easy as my HMS project kits but I find it more fun to do that way XD I will be temporary put my DMS project on hold and concentrate on my next HMS project kit (and of course my studies lol) as this next kit would be my entry to this year's GBWC. As always, not planning to win but still putting in lots of effort to build it =)
