February 2016 Updates!

Sorry for the long and quiet period of my blog for quite some time lol... I had been busy with my work, and I didn't have any kits to build lately. I had seen some 1/100 kits for the Iron-Blooded Orphans (IBO) series but was quite reluctant to buy any of them, only just placed ordered for the 1/100 Gundam Gusion few months back, before everyone realized that this kit was going to include the parts for Gundam Gusion Rebake, so lucky me haha... Definitely going to get the previous three 1/100 IBO kits and it's future upcoming 1/100 kits soon haha..

Darkness Mobile Suit project update. Progress still has been quite slow, but still managed to start work on cutting some parts out for spray painting.. After March I will be focusing on buying the metal parts for my kit and buy some spray paint probably in the month of April and May.. So I should still be on time for this year's GBWC lol..I promised myself to make this year's entry more better than last year's, so I need some motivation for it lol...

[MG] DMS-02HWS 'Dark Arch Mage' Hi-Nu HWS Gundam Painted Build - [6th February 2016]

Project Name:
DMS-02E Dark Arch Mage

Armaments:
- Dark Flame Saber x5 (x1 at left wrist, x2 at binder, x2 at front skirth armor hidden arms)
- Dark Flame Heavy Rifle x1
- Hell Weapon System Pack x1
- Dual Dark Flame Bazooka x2 (Mounted at Backpack unit)
- Dark Dual Shield x2
- Death Guardians x6

Special Ability:
- Guardian's Flame (Full attack from Death Guardians)
- Hell from above (From Hell Weapon System)

This is an upgrade for Dark Mage, which consist of the Hell Weapon System pack (originally Heavy Weapons System - HWS). Everything else would be the same, except that it might look bulky and heavier lol...

List of Tamiya Spray Paint used:
- TS-38 Gun Metal (Darkened Internal Frame)
- TS-06 Matt Black (Primary color, for main armor parts)
- TS-85 Bright Mica Red (Secondary color, for selected armor parts)
- Tamiya Surface Primer Light Grey (For base coating with Bright Mica Red)

*Updated 6th February 2016: I manged to find time to plan the colors for my parts, and started cutting the parts out from my A runner frame. I'll be taking my own sweet time to do this for sure hahaha...

[Completed][PG] RX-0[N] Unicorn Gundam Banshee Norn Full Psycho-Frame Prototype Mobile Suit (With LED Unit) - [Updated 9th January 2016]

The next Perfect Grade kit after Unicorn comes the Banshee Norn! Featuring it's Grenade Launcher that attached to the Beam Magnum, Armed Armor XC and Armed Armor DE, this is the next massive PG kit I had. The box itself is slightly thicker than the PG Unicorn kit due to the additional parts, and yes, I managed to get another LED set from HLJ =D

Armed Armor VN and Armed Armor BS currently selling as Premium Bandai, which I will get it and then put all the Armed Armor parts onto the Banshee lol..

[HG] Super Fumina Minato Sakai's Mobile Suit - [Updated 3rd January 2016]

First Gundam kit to start off 2016! Well, actually I had this kit like a month ago back as backlog lol.. So here's Super Fumina, which is quite a good kit, also came as a surprise to majority of the Gunpla community folks which they didn't know that Bandai could make such a kit. It may not be as good as what the Gundam Build Fighters anime shown, but this is quite satisfying enough lol..

Did some minor panel lining, and not using the decals for Fumina's eye lashes. So I attempted to use the marker to draw her eye lashes out.. Forgive me if it's ugly, I'm not a makeup artist lol..

Note: This kit does not cast-off parts =P

January 2016 Updates!

In case if you haven't noticed that I have no updates for December, it's ok lol.. I had no updates for December as I was only focusing on building the Destiny Gundam Heine Westenfluss kit.

So, first day of year 2016 and the second post of the year, I started building my Super Fumina kit finally which is my first post of 2016 lol.. And a few days back (last few days before the end of 2015) the Armed Armor VN & BS parts for PG Banshee has finally arrived! I will touch on that after concluding my Super Fumina build and it should be quite long, not the build time, but the possible usual of insanely lots of water slide decals to apply lol.. Trust me, the decal sheet seems way bigger the the PG Full Armor Unicorn parts lol..

Finally, on the updates for my DMS project, I have still yet to touch the kit what I wanted to work on, and I still drawing up my budget list to buy spray paints and stuffs. But definitely I can able to finish it by the time the next GBWC competition starts this year.

[Completed][MG] ZGMF-X42S-Revolution Destiny Gundam Heine Westenfluss Custom - [Updated 30th December 2015]

I bought this at Macau during an overseas trip at New Yaohan shopping mall, price is quite value for money in my opinion lol.. I chanced upon this expo (Not sure when was it) limited kit there and buy it since it's cheaper than what the Singapore shopping malls sells, but still expensive than what those selling at hobby shops, so it's kind of in the middle lol..

[MB] ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam Metal Build Edition

The next (and the last) Metal Build kit I would get, the Strike Freedom. Finally a set with my old Metal Build Destiny lol.. But I must say that the design is so damn cool, and the joints as usual are very strong as was previously seen on Destiny.

I had the urge to take my old Destiny out to do some pose shots together again lol...

I bought this on the first day of Gunpla Expo knowing it won't last long till the second day, which really happened lol.. So I'm considered to be lucky? Lol.. Anyway, I had built the normal RG Strike Freedom before and I really love it (which is why I considered getting RG kits subsequently) so when this came out, I wanted to get that, and it's my first and last purchase I made for this year's Gunpla Expo lol..

November Updates!

Hi all! November is here and how time flies by so fast, we are almost at the end of Year 2015 lol.. As we all already know, Gunpla Expo and GBWC 2015 Singapore has come to an end 2 weeks ago. Lots of pics taken there, I attended the awards ceremony too but sadly I didn't win. But it's ok for me, as I didn't intend to win as I have said before lol.. So next year, I'm working on my next DMS project kit for GBWC 2016 and I will make improvements to it and make it more awesome than my current kit =)

Anyway, I had did a little spring cleaning on my kits and my other old works (that I used to have when I was young) today, and had them re-arrange nicely so that my two display cabinets and my house looks tidy and create more space in there lol...
